SMART Boards and Student Engagement

Here's a great example of student engagement using the SMART Board interactive whiteboard. Watch as a fourth grade student from New Hampshire demonstrates how to add fractions using the SMART Board, the Smart Recorder and a flash-based fraction object in Notebook.

Please read the blog post Adding Fractions - Flash - Student Explanation to read more about the importance of the SMART Board.  No other comments necessary!

Great video. I am trying to figure out how to import that fraction flash file into the Notebook software. Any help out there?

Hey Jim-

Another great post, thanks for the example. Not trying to be anything but complimentary when I say that I have missed your posts the past week and a half! :)

I really like this video. I think this will eventually take over all classrooms. This is a great example of how great a tool this can be in the classroom. As a future teacher I would love to have this in my classroom one day.
