SMART Boards and YouTube
Here's a screen shot of my search for Smartboard videos. Can you find any of mine?:
Have fun with this one! Thank you Tumbl'n Teachers (glad you're back) for sharing this great resource.

I've updated the game so that you get more feedback from the blue box when adding your own sentences. Remember, if you add 10 or more sentences of the same difficulty, it will erase the default ones.Grammar Ninja allows you to enter your own sentences using the Sentence Creator for Windows.exe application. Please follow the instructions in the read me files or watch my video below to make sure you understand how to use your own sentences. I honestly believe that the Sentence Creator application is as powerful a tool for learning as is the Grammar Ninja application.
You can download the zip files containing the necessary files here.
Thanks for the update Greg!

Hello!
I get so excited when people leave comments or send emails telling me about how much they enjoy my Teachers Love SMART Boards blog. I take great pride in finding and sharing resources for teachers to use with their SMART Board interactive whiteboard.
I also take great pride in the fact that there are no advertisements and no promotions on the site. This site is about sharing and caring, not revenue or recognition. It's purpose is to help teachers use the SMART Board to increase learning. This site is also about inspiring other educators to share their expertise. Many teachers are finishing the school year and are about ready to take their well-deserved Summer break. Why not commit to creating your very own educational blog this Summer?

I get requests all the time for more interactive activities that are not only fun but actually make the kids think. In my search for new and exciting web applications for the classroom, I always start at Danny Nicholson's The Whiteboard Blog. In my book, this is the best blog for teachers who use an interactive whiteboard in the classroom.
Danny has found an outstanding website for Science class called The Magic Pen Game. This game is amazing. I simply cannot stop playing it. The objective is to draw objects on the screen to try to move a red ball around so it hits various red flags that are located on the screen. You draw objects like ramps and balls and hinges where you determine where to place the fulcrum. All objects behave as if they exist in our physical world.
If you're a Science teacher and your students have access to a computer or an interactive whiteboard, quit reading my blog and head over to The Magic Pen.

In the example above, the object is for the red ball to hit the red flag. I drew two ramps and two circles. The green circle is falling and should hit the orange circle so it rolls onto the ramp and then it should hit the red ball which should roll down the orange ramp and hit the red flag. There are a lot of other ways to get the red ball to hit the red flag by drawing objects on the screen.
Enjoy!

Why not have the Set Game displayed on the SMART Board for kids to solve before they start class. This would motivate kids to get into class on time. You could even have a Set Game contest or challenge students to beat your best time.
The Set Daily Puzzle is very easy to use on the SMART Board and it has a different puzzle each day. Here's a screen shot:

You need to find all six sets. Here is the solution to the one above:

The final set is almost completed. Notice the single purple striped oval and the double green striped diamond are selected. Can you guess the which one completes the set? Hint: Since the other two are striped, it would have to be striped; since the other two are different colors, it would have to be different; since the other two are different numbers, it would have to be different. Since the other two are different shapes, it would have to be different. In this case we're looking for a striped, red, triple, squiggly.
As you can see, there are instructions for learning how to play. It gets addicting so watch out! If you ever get under a minute, let me know. My best time is 46 seconds. Getting under a minute is really really good!

I've been playing around with some quiz generators that work well with the SMART Board and help teachers gather results. I'm very impressed with MyStudiyo and think it has a lot of potential for educators. This looks to be another outstanding Web 2.0 application!
Please help me evaluate this application further by taking my five (5) question quiz.
